About the Program

Students I've seen in my teaching experience and the children in my life who need a stronger foundation of math basics, inspired me to begin my Marvelous Math program. I've seen how students can create a negative association with math. I want to provide an environment where students can build confidence around math concepts so the kids will have a more positive attitude. I love teaching math using hands on methods and want to show students just how much fun math can be and how we use it in our every day lives! So I have decided to start Mrs. Hartley's Marvelous Math program for those kids who need more confidence in math, also for kids who love math! I will provide 1 1/2 hours of fun filled, hands on math activities! This can include games - inside and outside, scavenger hunts, relays, circuits and lots more! Come join the fun, meet new friends and gain math confidence in the classroom!

This year I have begun tutoring for math facts. My tutoring program runs for 1 hour. It's one on one using similar activities tailored to the specific student.
